The day starts as usual: we had our Irish history class about nationalism and unionism in 19th and 20th century Ireland.
Our interviews were scheduled for today and we had no more planned field trips. My interview was in the late afternoon, so I had time to go home, wash up, dress, and head out to catch the bus.
I left early for my interview and was there in good time. I was a little nervous because previous students had failed the interview and I was worried that they would ask me hard questions.
However, I worried needlessly because the interview wasn't an interview at all. They asked me about my studies, about my stay in Dublin, and told me a bit about what my position required.
I'm not complaining about my "interview" and I can't wait to start work. I'm excited to meet my colleagues - supposedly, the Irish workplace is rather different from the one in America.
