The day did not start early - our apartment had turned freezing cold overnight and I awoke to a very wet and grey day. It took me a little time and courage to leave the comfort of my not-so-warm bed.
But once I got ready, I headed out with my father to find my office. We had tried to locate it the day after we arrived, but to no avail. Some of the office buildings do not post visible directories to pedestrians, so I had no idea which building it was in. We tried asking numerous people, all of whom gave us different directions. Since the business close on the weekends, we decided (after wandering around for 2-3 hours in the pouring rain and howling wind) to try again on Monday.
I never imagined that the weather in Ireland would be anything like that in Indiana. It's cold and windy, but it's almost always raining here. I didn't know that the beautiful weather we had in Killarney was something unusual.
So a little reshuffling of my wardrobe is also necessary at this point.
